Founded by Rev. Lawrence A. Scott Jr. and Karen Scott, Transformation Theatre Productions has built its ministry around a simple but powerful idea: theater can help people see themselves, examine their choices, encounter biblical truth, and imagine a different path forward.

For some organizations, theater begins with entertainment.
For Transformation Theatre Productions, it begins with mission.
The organization was created from a desire to see men, women and children come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian lives.
Its productions use relatable characters, difficult choices, humor, conflict, relationships and everyday situations to communicate biblical principles in ways audiences can understand.
Instead of simply telling people what change looks like, theater provides an opportunity to see it unfold.
A character’s struggle may resemble your own.
A conversation on stage may sound like one you’ve had at home.
A decision made by a character may cause you to reconsider a decision in your own life.
That is where entertainment becomes transformation.
The Vision of Rev. Lawrence A. Scott Jr.
At the center of Transformation Theatre Productions is co-founder Rev. Lawrence A. Scott Jr., whose experience in theater spans more than three decades.
His background includes work with Freedom Theatre as well as Christian theatrical organizations and playwrights including Rev. Gary Johnson, Rev. Dr. Marci Bryant and Keith Henley.
Rev. Scott has served as a writer, director and actor, and many of Transformation Theatre’s productions include material he helped write.
His creativity is not limited to dramatic theater. He is also an accomplished Christian comedian who has performed nationally and internationally.
Behind all of those creative expressions, however, is one consistent purpose: using the gifts of theater, storytelling and communication to share the Gospel and encourage people to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Something for the Entire Family
Transformation Theatre Productions doesn’t limit its programming to one type of audience or one style of presentation.
Its theatrical productions explore biblical principles and moral choices while addressing situations that individuals and families encounter in real life. One example of that approach is the production Double Diagnosis.
The faith-based drama begins with a frightening situation: a routine doctor’s visit results in devastating news.
A character learns that he has a brain tumor and only months to live.
But the story doesn’t stop with the medical diagnosis.
It moves into deeper questions about mortality, fear, faith, redemption, prayer, purpose and a person’s relationship with God.
The production also carries a practical message encouraging men, particularly those over 40, to take health screenings and early detection seriously.
It is a strong example of what makes faith-based theater potentially so effective.
An audience can be entertained while simultaneously being challenged to think about health, family, relationships, faith and the decisions that shape their lives.
Bringing Transformation to New Platforms
The stage is no longer the only place audiences can encounter Transformation Theatre Productions.

One other thing: I couldn’t reliably retrieve the Nazca MediaOS preview URL itself through web access, so I did not invent anything from the upcoming site that I couldn’t verify. I used their existing official website, Life and Spirit Online broadcaster page, and current podcast listings instead.
