Rev. Dr. Bruce B. Matthews

Born July 9, 1957, was saved at the age of 15, joined the U.S. Army in 1975, graduated in 1977 from St. Mary’s High School while serving in the U.S. Army. Medically retired from the Service in 1986 and from that time to 1996 worked various jobs while taking care of his family and showing himself to be faithful to God and the Church. In 1997 God blessed him with a job in an organization called Occupational Training Center where he worked himself up the ladder to become a Project Manager overseeing two buildings.

In 2005 he retired from that job and became an entrepreneur in real estate, rental properties and other promising businesses. During this time he decided to attend Jameson Bible School out of Philadelphia PA. After completing Bible School he continued to Jameson School of Theology, while serving under Pastor George W. Darby Sr.. Serving as a member to Deacon then Minister, under this Pastor. AlI the while continuing his Biblical education and receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology from Jameson Christian Collage in 2002.

After 10 years he decided to further his Theological education; and after the death of his oldest son, on July 12, 2012 the Lord instructed Pastor Matthews to open the doors of Rejuvenate Your Life Through Christ Ministries and he has been Pastoring to this very second. Still attending school, he received his Master of Theology Degree, from International Christian University in 2018. His soul yet hungered for more, so he continued the Biblical education and achieved his Doctor of Divinity Degree in 2020 from the same University.

Dr. Matthews lost his wife in 2013, he is a father of three, while being a father to many, also a grandfather of 10, one great grandchild. He often says “I am just a mere servant of the Lord”.
